One person was killed in a private residence in Varkaus, a municipality under Eastern Finland region on Monday, police said in a press release on Tuesday.
The suspected murder took place in the house at Käpykangas area in the locality.
Police arrested four people in connection with the incident.
Police, however, did not divulge detail about the murder and the identities of the deceased and the suspects at the preliminary stage of the investigation.
They are investigating into the case to find out more information in this regard.
