Normal summer temperature is likely return in Finland on Sunday after the scorching heatwave blew across the country in the last more than three weeks, according the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI)
The country experienced over 30 degrees Celsius temperature on Saturday for the 22nd consecutive day when FMI recorded 30.4 degrees Celsius in Ranua, Lapland, and in Hailuoto Island near Oulu.
Met Office said that the temperature will reduce slightly in the South following slight rain accompanied by cooler wave on Sunday.
There will be rain and thunderstorms in the central and northern parts of the country on Sunday.
It is unlikely that the temperature will climb to above 30 degrees Celsius in near future after Saturday.
The average temperature on Sunday will be in between 21 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast, there will be typical summer temperature on Monday and rainfall and thunderstorms will occur at different parts in the country.
