Building costs increased by 0.2 per cent in June 2025 compared to the previous year's corresponding period, according to Statistics Finland.
Among materials, the biggest cost increases in the year were recorded in timber structures (8.6%) and in soil (5.6%).
Costs decreased most in the year in heat, water and sewer supplies (4.3%) and in construction site surface structures (2.9%).
Labour input costs increased by 0.1 per cent in June 2025 compared to a year ago while the costs of materials increased by 1.0 per cent.
The costs of services decreased by 3.4 per cent compared to a year ago.
